The ING DIRECT Broker Team is continually working to improve its products and services to ensure your clients receive the
best mortgage on the market. As part of this ongoing process we have introduced a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Consent Form which enables us to quickly validate your client’s income supported by a Notice of Assessment, which results in faster processing
times and mitigates potential mortgage fraud issues. In addition, based on your feedback we have made improvements to the
Broker Transfer/Switch Commitment Letter. Our new commitment letter is much easier and simpler to use for both you and your clients.
1. NEW – Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Consent Form
ING DIRECT requires that all New Mortgage Clients providing a Notice of Assessment (NOA) as income verification complete a
consent form granting authorization for ING DIRECT to access CRA records. This enables us to quickly verify income accuracy
against CRA records.
We require the Consent Form only when a Notice of Assessment is provided as income confirmation. The Consent Form is sent
together with the Mortgage Commitment documents via your Preferred Delivery Method (e-mail or fax) when required. View a sample form.
Using this new form speeds up mortgage file fulfillment processing times and improves service while minimizing mortgage fraud
exposure.
2. NEW - Broker Transfer/Switch Commitment Letter
ING DIRECT now generates a new personalized Commitment Letter for your client that is sent via your Preferred Delivery Method
(e-mail or fax), just like your Checklist. This improvement is in response to the feedback we’ve received from you and your

Best of all when used in combination with our new Safe Banking process there’s no need for your client to meet with an ING DIRECT Agent to complete the deal!
For all transfers/switches, ING DIRECT will continue to use the Filogix interface to receive deals and to transmit approval
notification and basic mortgage details.
This improvement will make transfer/switches easier and speed up processing times which will of course help you strengthen
your client relationship.
